Sharon

Office Manager

Years in the dental field: 23

Sharon began her dental career right out of High School as a dental assistant.

After taking some time off to raise her family and run a business, she returned to the dental field. She became Dr. Bronson’s office manager in 2006.

Her knowledge of the back and front office helped her to manage the office and the schedule. She loves meeting new people and helping those that are nervous feel relaxed in a dental setting. Sharon has been married to her wonderful husband for 45 years. Together, they have 4 married children and 12 grandchildren.

She loves spending time with her family and will be seen in the stands supporting all their activities. She loves traveling and seeing historical sites and loved learning how to quilt during the pandemic.

Favorite dental procedure:  “Any procedure that improves our patients smiles!! I’m partial to dental cleanings, though.”

Favorite aspect of dentistry:  “I enjoy when our patients walk away from our office feeling better about their smile and in turn their confidence.”

Family: “My husband, Jorge, and I have been married for 20 years. We have a beautiful, walking encyclopedia of a daughter named Ava”

Non-work activities: “I enjoy reading, daily walks, and traveling. I am a Disney freak and enjoy taking our daughter to Disneyland whenever possible.”

Favorite dental procedure:  “It is hard for me to pick just one, but I would have to say I enjoy assisting with restorative procedures.”

Favorite aspect of dentistry: “I truly love my job. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, but I think the best part for me is seeing the patients' smiles as they leave with greater confidence.”

Family: “I am married to my best friend of 33 years. We have 4 amazing kids and 6 soon-to-be 7 grandchildren who are the light of our lives. We love traveling and cruising, and just spending time with each other.”

Non-work activities:  “Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to new places and experiencing different cultures. I also love spending time with my grandchildren and relaxing with a good Korean show.”

Favorite aspect of dentistry: Getting to know my patients is the best! Cleaning teeth is never as good as catching up with my patients.”

Family:  “My family includes my spouse and puppy. We are lucky enough to live close to extended family and do regular game nights.”

Non-work activities: “I enjoy both outdoor and indoor activities, from playing card games and puzzles, to paddle-boarding and fishing. We also enjoy the occasional game of pickleball and tennis as a family!”

Favorite dental procedure: "I’m not picky-anything but a root canal. My favorite part is being able to build relationships with patients and be able to joke around, helping them feel more at ease."

Favorite aspect of dentistry: “I love that dentistry is constantly advancing! I enjoy discovering the 'why' behind the reasoning we do things.”

Family: “Married to my best friend, and we have 2 girls and 2 boys. Any adventure with this crazy bunch turns into pure chaos, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!” 

Non-work activities: “More often than not, my husband and I have a DIY project we’re working on. Family movie nights are a weekly favorite. The sun shines is good for my soul, whether that be working in the yard or in the mountains, or on a beach.”
